Surf the Silver Coast of Portugal
Location
One of the most exciting surf regions in Europe.
The camp is located in Caldas da Rainha, just a short drive from some of Portugal’s most famous surf beaches.
Nearby locations include:
Peniche and Baleal — world-class surf spots
Nazaré — famous for the biggest waves on the planet
Foz do Arelho and São Martinho do Porto — scenic coastal beaches
This location allows us to choose the best surf spot each day depending on wave conditions.
Quality Is A Standard
Surf Equipment
We use boards, leashes, wetsuits, and sun hats from Ocean&Earth – a brand trusted by professionals in the surfing world.
FAQ
Answers to the most common questions about the camp and your stay.
What is included in the surf camp price?
The price includes accommodation in the villa, daily surf lessons, equipment rental (board and wetsuit), meals, and participation in the camp program. The All Inclusive package also includes transfers, excursions, parties, and additional activities.
What accommodation options are available?
Guests stay in a modern, spacious villa near the Atlantic Ocean. Different room formats are available, including shared and private options.
How do meals work at the surf camp?
Breakfast and lunch are included daily in both packages. In the Standard package, dinners are included on Saturdays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. On the other evenings, we usually go out together to local restaurants and explore nearby food spots, so there is no chef service at the villa on those days. The All Inclusive package includes dinner every day.
How do airport transfers work?
Airport transfers are organized every Saturday — the main arrival and departure day at the surf camp. Group transfers are included in the All Inclusive package. For Standard package guests, group transfers are available as an additional paid option. Private transfers are also available for all guests at an extra cost. We usually arrange two airport pickups per day: one around 10–11 AM and another around 3–4 PM. We always do our best to organize the schedule in a way that allows us to pick up everyone whenever possible. If your flight arrives very early or late, you may need to reach the villa independently, but we’ll always help you with the best transport options and advice on how to get there easily.
How many people stay in one room?
Depending on the selected package, different room types are available, including triple rooms for small groups or solo travelers.
What should I bring to the surf camp?
It’s recommended to bring swimwear, sunscreen, comfortable clothing, warm layers for evenings, documents, and personal items. Main surf equipment is provided by the camp.
What is the minimum booking duration?
The minimum booking is 7 nights.
Are there discounts for longer stays?
Yes, a 10% discount is offered for bookings of 10 nights or more.
How is Point Break different from a regular surf school?
It’s a full lifestyle surf camp experience: villa accommodation, continuous instructor support, excursions, social activities, yachting, parties, and a strong community — not just separate surf lessons.
Why is Portugal a good place for a surf camp?
Portugal offers consistent waves, a variety of surf spots, a mild climate, affordable prices, and a safe environment, making it one of the best countries in Europe for surf trips for both beginners and advanced surfers.
